More advanced procedures like bone grafts are almost always doomed to failure for smokers. |
Q. Is there a simple way to secure dentures?
A. A denture passes biting and chewing forces and movement in to the gums and underlying bone. As the bone shrinks away the dentures become increasingly unstable. A couple of simple studs can provide a massive improvement and a bar on three or four implants provide yet more stability. With four implants and precision connectors we can load the implants not the gum - with a significant, long term improvement. |
Q. Can you add more implants later on if you lose more teeth or want to upgrade to a better solution?.
A. Yes, implant technology allows great flexibility so upgrading is quite straight-forward. |
