Prior to being a Dental Confidence patient, Mary had experienced many complications with her former NHS dentist- and as a result had been subject to several unnecessary extractions. It wasn’t until she moved on to a private dentist that she made the decision to do something about this.

Smiling is a wonderful thing. It can reduce stress, make you more attractive, calm you down, lift a bad mood- you can even make another person happy with a smile!
Smiling has also been proven to improve your health as the endorphins released when you smile can lower blood pressure, reducing levels of stress hormones such as cortisol, dopamine and adrenaline. Furthermore, in a recent survey- it was discovered that those that frequently smiled were more likely to be promoted in their work than those that didn’t.

If you snore or make noises when you sleep, if you are frequently tired in the day or if you suffer irritable mood swings- you may well have ‘sleep apnea’ -a common disorder that causes you to momentarily stop breathing, or take shallow breaths in your sleep.
We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Patient Care in the South’ and ‘Best Team in the South’ categories at the prestigious ‘Private Dentistry Awards’. The awards, which take place annually, aim to identify, reward and recognise excellence in dentistry.
